Motorways, coach services and taxi services link the Chauchina de la Vega airport, 17 kilometres away from Granada, to the rest of the city. Its runways receive regular flights from Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca, Las Palmas and Tenerife, places where international flights would have to stop over. Another possibility is to travel to the Costa del Sol International Airport, in Malaga, 130 kilometres away from Granada. Granada's railway station is on one end of the historic quarter, and links the city to important spots in the Peninsula through Grandes Líneas (long-distance trains), and regional trainsMadrid and Granada are linked through the LR16 route. The T17 route links Granada to Barcelona, passing through Linares-Baeza (Jaen), Albacete and Valencia. Another possibility is to go from Madrid to Malaga in the Talgo 200-Malaga High Speed Train. This journey can be completed in little more than four hours. Regional trains will take you from Granada to Almería, Seville, Algeciras (Cádiz) and Linares-Baeza (Jaén). Road transport in this area uses the N-323 road. This national main road links Granada to the north with Jaen, Bailén and Madrid; and to the South with Motril and the coast. To go to Cordoba and Badajoz, take the N-432 road, and to go from Granada to Malaga and Seville take the A-92 westward, or eastward to go to Murcia and Almeria. These roads are used by the coach lines that connect Granada with numerous destinations in Spain and abroad.
